Germany Warns Iran Not to Add Fuel to the Fire
Germany has warned Iran not to further escalate the conflict between Israel and Hamas following a meeting between the country’s foreign minister and senior Hamas officials.
“Anyone who wants to play with fire in this situation and add fuel to the fire or otherwise intensify the situation should really think carefully, as we are facing a potential major regional conflict,” said Foreign Ministry spokesman Sebastian Fischer.
It is noteworthy that Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has characterized support for the oppressed Palestinian people as the permanent and unchangeable policy of the Islamic Republic. He reminded that those who remain silent about Israel's crimes must answer for their current behavior before God, their conscience, and the court of history. This was reported by the Mehr news agency.
