VIDEO: Gegharkunik Governor on Sotk Mine

The Sotk mine is partially continuing its operations, Gegharkunik Governor Karen Sargsyan told reporters.

“The mine is partially operating, referring to the closed section,” he said.

According to Sargsyan, all displaced persons from Artsakh have been provided with housing in the region.

“There hasn’t been a single case where someone has approached the governor's office and we haven't accommodated them. Currently, we have about 5,000 forcibly displaced Artsakh residents who are located in our region,” noted the Gegharkunik governor.
