Dissatisfaction Towards Anahit Avanesyan: She Has Failed
Discontent regarding the activities of Armenia's Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan is increasingly growing. The point is that the lawyer by profession has started to lose court cases, which has further intensified the pressure on her. This is reported by the newspaper "Zhoghovurd." The latest fresh instance involves the case of the director of the National Center for Pulmonology, and the center's director Artak Manukyan is to be reinstated in that position, meaning the minister has lost in court.
Prior to this, Tsaghik Vardanyan had won against the minister and was reinstated as the head of the State Health Agency of the Ministry of Health. It appears that the lawyer-minister is unable to make decisions that do not later end up in court.
On the other hand, even Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is focusing on her. Despite Avanesyan's efforts to be active in government meetings or generally be present where Nikol Pashinyan is, there is dissatisfaction with her work. Sources from the "Zhoghovurd" newspaper have reported that political authorities are currently searching for a new Minister of Health.
