EU Transfers 51 Vehicles to Armenia
The European Union plans to transfer 75 vehicles to Armenia as a donation for the Patrol Service. In this regard, the Armenian government made a decision today, October 12, to accept and appropriate the assets as a gift.
The transfer of vehicles will occur in two phases. Currently, work is underway for the transfer of 51 vehicles from the EU to Armenia.
It is noteworthy that the relevant subdivisions of the Patrol Service are currently operational in 6 regions of Armenia and Yerevan, and soon will operate throughout the entire territory of the republic. Continuous efforts are being made to effectively implement the challenges and functions set before the service, including collaboration with international partners to acquire appropriate equipment and technology.
