Another Soldier Arrested in Connection with Narek Nazaryan's Death

It was reported that on October 9, Narek Armeni Nazaryan, a soldier of the Armenian Ministry of Defense's N military unit, died from a firearm injury incompatible with life, according to the Ministry of Defense.

According to information obtained by Armlur, another soldier from the same unit has been arrested in connection with Nazaryan's death. Reports from law enforcement indicate that this soldier fired at Nazaryan and testified to the authorities that the shooting was accidental. Whether it was truly an accident or intentional will be clarified by the investigation.

It is noteworthy that the deceased soldier was from the village of Gargarr in the Lori region. He was the only son in his family and had one sister. Narek Nazaryan was only 19 years old and had served for 7 months.
