Hamburg Airport Suspends Operations Due to Bomb Threat on Flight from Tehran
Hamburg Airport has fully suspended operations due to a bomb threat on a flight arriving from Tehran.
According to media reports, a representative of the police received a letter this morning regarding a threat against the Tehran-Hamburg flight. The aircraft has landed at the airport, and law enforcement officials are currently searching it. The 198 passengers and 16 crew members aboard have disembarked, and their luggage is now being checked.
As of 14:40 Yerevan time, the airport is not sending or receiving any flights. According to the agency, federal authorities are taking the email threat seriously.
