Erdogan's Visit to Granada Canceled Due to Health Issues
The participation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in today’s meeting of the ruling Justice and Development Party and his scheduled meetings in Granada, Spain on October 5 have been canceled. This is reported by Turkish media.
It is noted that the reason for this decision is Erdogan's health problems. According to reports, Erdogan fell ill with a cold yesterday evening and, upon the advice of his doctors, postponed his visit to Granada.
It is worth remembering that earlier we reported that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev refused to hold a previously scheduled meeting in Granada, which was to be attended by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, European Council President Charles Michel, French President Emmanuel Macron, and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Azerbaijani media report that Aliyev cited “France’s unconstructive behavior” as the reason for avoiding the meeting.
