Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry Comments on French Foreign Minister's Visit to Armenia
Statements made by French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna regarding "blockade" and "displaced persons" do not contribute to peace, according to Aykan Hacizada, spokesperson for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, who shared his views on X.
“Her statements that ‘France is always alongside Armenia’ have definitively removed the masks of France as a sincere and neutral mediator,” wrote Hacizada.
It is noteworthy that the French Foreign Minister arrived in Armenia yesterday. She announced that Paris is prepared to sign an agreement with Yerevan on the provision of military technology. The French minister also expressed hope that “the EU and its member states will begin to show clear signals akin to those France is demonstrating, that any action threatening Armenia's territorial integrity will receive a very clear and firm response.”
