Photos: Vladimir Gasparyan's Condition Deteriorates in Court
Hearings are underway at the Anti-Corruption Court regarding the case of former Chief of Police of Armenia, Vladimir Gasparyan. ArmLur.am's correspondent reports that at this moment, Vladimir Gasparyan has felt unwell in court, and first aid is being administered to him. The session has been temporarily suspended.
It is worth noting that during the pre-trial investigation conducted by the Special Investigative Service (SIS), numerous instances of abuse of power, official forgery, and large-scale embezzlement of state funds by former high-ranking police officials, including Vladimir Gasparyan and Levon Yeranosyan, have been revealed. As a result of these actions, the state has suffered approximately 114 million AMD in damages.
Gasparyan has been charged under Article 179, Part 3, Clause 1 of the Criminal Code (embezzlement or misappropriation) and Article 308, Part 2 (abuse of official authority).
