They Are Preparing for the Conquest of New Territories of the Republic of Armenia: Turkologist on Turkish-Azerbaijani Propaganda
“Turkey has occupied internationally recognized territory in Syria for more than 8 years now. They have taken land equivalent to three regions of Syunik (colored green on the map). Yet they continue to assert that they respect Syria’s territorial integrity,” wrote Turkologist Varoujan Geghamyan.
“Such statements do not hinder military conquests. Azerbaijan is doing the same right now. They claim that they have no ‘eye’ on our territory, but since November 2020, they have already captured 400 square kilometers from the internationally recognized territory of the Republic of Armenia. And they will continue to seize more. Leading up to the upcoming Aliyev-Pashinyan meeting on October 5 in Granada, the leadership of Azerbaijan and Turkey has begun to send certain peaceful messages, aimed at weakening the wave of protests within Armenia, which will allow their Armenian counterpart to continue surrendering new territories and meet other preconditions,” he added.
“Please, do not succumb to the propaganda of Turkish-Azerbaijani figures. Look at their actions. They are preparing for the conquest of new territories of Armenia,”
