The authorities of the Odesa region have confirmed the destruction of the Orlovka checkpoint on the border with Romania due to the Russian nighttime bombardment, and it is reported that two drivers were also injured.

Operations at the port have been temporarily suspended due to the destruction of port infrastructure. It is noted that Natalia Humeniuk, a representative of the Southern Command, reported that vehicles caught fire in the waiting and registration area at the border near the Danube. According to her, there was a danger for passengers of a bus preparing to cross the border.

Earlier, Oleg Kibern, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, stated that the checkpoint building, warehouses, and approximately 30 trucks were damaged as a result of the Russian attack, with six trucks catching fire.
