Over 700 Displaced Armenians Receive Medical Care in Goris, Deputy Minister
In the medical center opened at the culture house in Goris for individuals displaced from Artsakh, more than 700 patients have received medical assistance. This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Health of Armenia, Artak Jumayan, during a conversation with reporters in Kornidzor.
“There are three medical points in the building of the Goris Theater. According to data from about two hours ago, more than 700 patients have already received medical assistance there. More than half of them are children. There have also been childbirths, and everything has gone well,” Jumayan noted.
He emphasized that there have been citizens who needed to be transferred to hospitals. The deputy minister highlighted that all medical assistance provided to those displaced from Artsakh is free of charge, under state orders, with no restrictions.
Jumayan assured that no fatalities among the displaced individuals from Artsakh have been recorded in hospitals of Armenia up to this point.
The Deputy Minister of Health also stressed that both emergency services and the primary healthcare sector are fully equipped, and there is no need for medication or professional assistance.
