First 8 Assets of Ukrainian Oligarchs Sold in Crimea
The first eight auctions for the nationalized assets of Ukrainian oligarchs in Crimea have taken place, totaling 815 million rubles, reported Vladimir Konstantinov, the head of the Crimea parliament, on his Telegram channel.
According to him, notifications have now been posted for the sale of four more residential properties in public auctions, which could generate an additional 27 million rubles for the republic's budget.
Among other things, it is planned to sell approximately 100 more nationalized properties soon, including residential areas, such as apartments belonging to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's family, recreational facilities, and retail and commercial spaces. These sales could bring over 800 million rubles to the Crimean treasury.
This is not all the property of Ukrainian oligarchs that is slated for sale. The anti-terrorism committee is continuing its work, which may reveal new objects; these will later be transferred to new owners, concluded Konstantinov.
