Video: Multi-kilometer Traffic Jam at Kyrgyz-Kazakh Border

Truck drivers are complaining about the closed border crossings between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. They reported this to Kaktus.media, noting that the situation has persisted for about a day.

According to them, starting from 8:00 AM on August 20, long lines of heavy vehicles began to accumulate at the Ken-Bulun and Ak-Tilek checkpoints.

“From 8 AM to evening on August 20, about 15 trucks entered Kazakhstan, leading to numerous kilometers of traffic jams,” one driver recounted. But most importantly, they strongly hinted that this situation arose because Kyrgyzstan is allegedly not providing water to Kazakhstan.
