Photos: Aftermath of Night Shelling at One of the Danube Ports

The authorities of Ukraine's Odesa region have reported damage to port infrastructure. This information comes from Kommersant.

Due to the shelling in Odesa region, the infrastructure of one of the Danube ports has been damaged. This was announced on Telegram by Oleg Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration. He noted that there were no casualties or injuries.

According to him, Russian military forces attacked the region twice during the night using drones. Kiper identified the port in the south of the region and the grain infrastructure as their main targets.

“As a result of the enemy strikes, warehouses and silos were damaged at one of the Danube ports. Fires that broke out have been promptly extinguished by the State Emergency Service officers,” Kiper added.

He specified that 11 attacking drones were destroyed by the forces and means of the Ukrainian Air Force. An air alert was declared in Odesa region during the night.

It is noted that the Russian Ministry of Defense has not reported on the strikes.
