Azerbaijan Must Urgently Comply with International Court of Justice Decisions: Kenneth Roth
The ongoing blockade of the Lachin corridor by Azerbaijan for eight months has led to a humanitarian emergency, causing suffering and deprivation in the Nagorno-Karabakh region. This was stated by Kenneth Roth, former executive director of the international human rights organization Human Rights Watch, in a post on X.
In his message, he also included calls from UN experts directed at Azerbaijan to unblock the Lachin corridor.
“Azerbaijan must immediately comply with the International Court of Justice's decisions and cease the blockage of essential goods supply and freedom of movement,” Roth stated.
