VIDEO: We Must Pursue the Shadow, Says Pashinyan

“We need to improve or develop the citizens of the Republic of Armenia’s attitude towards the taxes they pay themselves. We are doubling teachers' salaries and we are doubling the salaries of those serving in the army. We are building roads, we are building schools. All of this is done through the state budget of the Republic of Armenia. Alongside all this, we acknowledge that there continues to be a significant shadow economy in Armenia. We have decided that we must pursue the shadow,” said Nikol Pashinyan during a cabinet meeting.
