Russia to Supply Up to 50 Thousand Tons of Free Grain to Six African Countries
Russia will supply up to 50 thousand tons of grain free of charge to six African countries, stated Dmitry Patrushev, head of the Ministry of Agriculture.
"As our president mentioned, besides being a reliable partner in grain supply on the global market, we will also be delivering free grain to African countries; for now, six countries are involved, with volumes ranging from 25 to 50 thousand tons," said the minister.
The authorities are currently working on this issue, and supplies may begin in the near future, the head of the department clarified.
