Russian Soldiers Conduct Exercises in Armenia

The personnel of the radiation, chemical, and biological defense unit of the Russian Southern Military District's military base conducted reconnaissance and monitoring tasks in a mountainous training area as part of their training exercises in Armenia.

During the exercises, specialists used special equipment to survey the area with the aim of detecting potentially hazardous toxic substances, collected soil samples, and analyzed them. The contaminated areas of the terrain were identified, and the soldiers from the Southern Military District carried out decontamination of military equipment, disinfection, and provided first aid to simulated casualties.

In the next training session, the soldiers will perform tasks to camouflage their units from visual observation by a simulated enemy.
