We Cannot Provide Security Guarantees to Ukraine: EU Statement
The European Union cannot provide security guarantees to Ukraine as it falls outside its jurisdiction, said Peter Stano, the official spokesperson for the EU External Action Service during a press briefing.
"We are not a security organization, so discussions about security guarantees are the concern of NATO and individual countries, but not of the EU as an institution," he stated.
