US Accuses Russia of Blackmail
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has stated that Russia is using Black Sea trade routes as a form of blackmail. His remarks were made during a speech at the UN Security Council, as reported by RIA Novosti.
“We are grateful to Turkey and others for their efforts to restore the grain deal. Every member of this council, every member of the UN, should tell Moscow: ‘Enough, stop using the Black Sea as blackmail,’” Blinken said.
During his speech, the Secretary of State reiterated the point that Western sanctions do not apply to Russian food and fertilizers.
