New Decision Regarding the Arrested Officer in the Tragic Fire Incident in Azat Village: What is Known
According to the newspaper "Joghows" reports, the Investigative Committee of Armenia has made a new decision regarding the officer, Yeghishe Hakobyan, who is detained in relation to the tragic fire incident in Azat village. Specifically, it has been informed that the officer's detention period has been extended by 2 months.
It is noteworthy that on January 19 of this year, the officer filled the stove with gasoline to light it, which led to a fire breaking out in the barracks, resulting in the deaths of 15 servicemen. Four individuals are facing charges in this case. It should be recorded that, up to this day, the parents have not trusted the officially presented version and regularly express their dissatisfaction with the ongoing investigation.
