“I Don’t Mean to Say You Should Not Long for the Legendary Suffering and Death of My Husband, My Children, and Myself”: Anna Hakobyan
The wife of the Prime Minister, Anna Hakobyan, made a post on her Facebook page:
“To our many, exceedingly many, incredibly many angry ‘sisters and brothers’ living inside and outside Armenia. I am sure you have personal and individual reasons for your anger, and those reasons feel unbearably heavy to each one of you. And yet, you, too, should remain steadfast. If you cannot be steadfast, then: If you cannot be balanced, at least it is time to start thinking about it and working on that direction.
As a first step, try to manage the speech you express on public platforms. I do not mean to say that you should not long for the legendary suffering and death of my husband, my children, and myself. Certainly not. That is your choice, and no one can even discuss that choice. It is simply time for you to be more responsible towards your surrounding environment and to choose your expressions and words carefully when articulating various desires.
And be assured, this will bring peace and tranquility primarily to you,” the post reads.
