Thousands Protest Judicial Reforms in Tel Aviv
Thousands of people have taken to the streets in Tel Aviv to protest against judicial reforms. The demonstrators are chanting anti-government slogans and setting off pyrotechnics. This is reported by TASS.
The protest is taking place near the governmental complex in the eastern part of the city, where the opposition has been holding its weekly rallies against the judicial reforms since the beginning of the year. Protesters have lit fires in several places on the road and are not planning to disperse. Police units and water cannons are also present at the scene.
Today, the Israeli parliament approved the first part of the judicial reform that has sparked opposition backlash.
