"There is a strong weapon in the hands of the Armenian authorities": Oskanyan

There is a strong weapon in the hands of the Armenian authorities, and that is the decision of the International Court of Justice. Former Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan stated this in a Facebook video message.

According to the decision, Azerbaijan is obliged to ensure free movement along the Lachin corridor, yet the road remains blocked.

According to Oskanyan, having this decision, Armenia should quickly file a complaint with the UN Security Council.

“Bring the issue there and compel, request, demand that the Lachin corridor be opened. Present the truly dire humanitarian situation correctly, with the right people. And by carrying out the appropriate diplomatic work, we can reach a decision that will further pressure Azerbaijan to open that road,” said the diplomat.
