Photos: Another Fire at the Nubarashen Landfill
On July 21, at 00:08, the Emergency Management National Center received a report that a fire broke out at the Nubarashen landfill in Yerevan. This was confirmed by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Two fire and rescue units from the Yerevan Rescue Division and the on-duty group from the Fire Suppression and Rescue Operations Division were dispatched to the scene.
The fire was contained by 03:15 and extinguished by 12:32. Construction waste burned over an area of 100 square meters. One water truck and one tractor from the Yerevan municipality were involved in the firefighting efforts.
