Armenia's Ministry of Defense Denies Reports of Iranian Drone Use Against Azerbaijan
Armenia's Ministry of Defense has once again denied reports regarding the use of Iranian drones against Azerbaijan. This was conveyed to Sputnik Armenia by the Ministry's press secretary Aram Torosyan, commenting on messages that had appeared in the media.
"The defense agency has previously addressed the same type of false information circulating in Azerbaijani media on several occasions," he said.
The Israeli I24news outlet reported that during several recent clashes along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, the Armenian side allegedly used Shahid drones against Azerbaijani positions. This publication has been disseminated by Azerbaijani media.
Such claims had also been denied earlier by Minister Papikyan. Prime Minister Pashinyan had stated in April that Azerbaijan uses this misinformation to undermine the relations between Yerevan and Brussels.
