Russia Ready to Organize Meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers: Russian Foreign Ministry
One of the inseparable parts of the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan should be the reliable and clear guarantees of the rights and security of the people of Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as the strict implementation of the entire package of trilateral agreements between Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia, including the unblocking of transport communications and the initiation of the border demarcation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan. This was stated in a statement by the Russian Foreign Ministry.
“Considering the above, the Russian side reaffirms its commitment to actively contribute to the efforts of the international community aimed at restoring normal life in Nagorno-Karabakh. We are ready to organize a trilateral meeting of foreign ministers in Moscow in the near future to discuss the ways to implement the agreements at the highest level, including the topic of coordinating the peace treaty, with the aim of subsequently organizing a high-level meeting in Moscow for the signing of the peace treaty,” the statement said.
