VIDEO: Azerbaijan Attributes Non-Existent Mines to Armenia, Says Pashinyan
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed the issue of the blockade of the Lachin corridor during a cabinet meeting, stating that it occurred solely due to actions taken by Azerbaijani state structures.
According to him, Azerbaijan's 'environmental activism' continues, and they are now attempting to present environmental accusations against Armenia at both official and unofficial levels.
“Azerbaijan attributes non-existent mines to Armenia, raises circumstances that are fabricated, points to decisions that are about entirely different matters, and references conventions that are irrelevant,” he said, adding that Armenian state and private organizations are demonstrating the baseless nature of these accusations.
Pashinyan also spoke about the decision of the International Court of Justice regarding the blockade of the Lachin corridor, noting that it provides an opportunity to ensure greater international consolidation to counter the policy of ethnic cleansing in Nagorno-Karabakh.
