VIDEO: Ruben Vardanyan Speaks About Being a "Kremlin Man"
I know that with my step I am causing pain to many people; they must accept that I have honestly risen and come to Artsakh, leaving my family and good life because I understand that the issue of Artsakh is very complicated and serious, it is critical. Former Prime Minister of the Republic of Artsakh Ruben Vardanyan provided such a response today during a live broadcast on Radio "Aurora" when asked about the widespread opinion that he was sent by the Kremlin.
"If people accept that Ruben Vardanyan has left everything and come here with no ulterior motives, if they understand that what Ruben Vardanyan has done is normal, everything will fall into place. The abnormal has become normal, while the normal is seen as some sort of heroism. I know that my step is causing pain to many people; they must accept that I have honestly risen and come to Artsakh, leaving my family and good life, because I understand that the issue of Artsakh is very complicated and serious, it is critical. A question arises, why are those who spread such news not in Artsakh? On the other hand, it is very easy to spread the notion that I am a man from England, on the other side a man from Russia, or who knows a man from Japan, they might even turn me into a man from Brazil. They spread whatever they want, yes, they say that I am involved in money laundering, ready to spread anything about me, just so they do not ask themselves why they are not in Artsakh. In this way, they are trying to justify themselves that they have the right to do nothing," stated Ruben Vardanyan.
