Turkey has not turned its back on Russia, and Ankara will support official Moscow in "transparent negotiations." This was reported by the Hürriyet newspaper, citing sources within the government.

"The notion that Turkey has turned its back on Russia and is entirely pivoting towards the West does not reflect reality. Turkey will continue to pursue a balancing policy as an international and regional power.

In this context, Turkey will continue to develop relations with the West and Europe while simultaneously supporting transparent negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin," the publication writes.
