Famous Ukrainian Karateka Suspected of Killing Former Commander of the 'Krasnodar' Submarine
The former president of the Ukrainian Shotokan Karate-Do Federation, Serhiy Denysenko, has been arrested on suspicion of murdering Stanislav Rzhitskiy, deputy head of the mobilization department of the Russian Ministry of Defense’s city administration, reports the SHOT Telegram channel.
According to the channel, Denysenko was born in Ukraine’s Sumy region. He holds a black belt, seventh dan (out of nine). The president of the Ukrainian Karate-Do Federation has likely been coaching in Russia. Today, he was taken into custody at a rented apartment in Tuapse, where investigators found a silenced pistol allegedly used to shoot Rzhitskiy.
Konstantin Plenkov, president of the Shotokan Karate-Do Federation in Saint Petersburg, stated that he does not believe Denysenko was involved in the murder. He described the Ukrainian as too honest and decent to commit such an act. However, he noted that they last had contact before the start of the special operation.
