Illegal Constructions on Building Roofs Must Stop: Avinyan
Next week, the installation of elevators for the ground passage of the "Closed Market" will commence. This was announced by Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan during a routine session of the Yerevan municipality.
“It may seem like a small component, but making the city more accessible for people with physical limitations is one of our most important objectives. We need to address these issues step by step,” said the deputy mayor.
During the meeting, Tigran Avinyan highlighted that illegal constructions should no longer be built on building roofs. “The association is obliged to carry out the demolition of the attics constructed on the roof of the historic building, and we also commit to assist in carrying out these works,” he noted.
