VIDEO: Zelensky Returns to Ukraine with Azov Commanders from Turkey
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that he is returning to Ukraine with five commanders of the "Azov" national battalion who are currently in Turkey. Footage shared on the President's Telegram channel shows Zelensky and head of the president's office Andriy Yermak welcoming the Ukrainian soldiers at the airport and boarding the plane with them.
“We are returning home from Turkey,” wrote the President of Ukraine. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced on September 22, 2022, that more than 200 people had been brought to Turkey following a prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine.
