Ankara Violates Agreement, Says Kremlin
Ankara has violated agreements by returning the leaders of the "Azov" battalion to Ukraine. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for the President of Russia, to RIA Novosti.
“Moreover, no one informed Russia,” he said.
The "Azov" battalion is recognized as a terrorist organization in Russia, and its activities are banned.
Previously, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had announced that five commanders from the "Azov" national battalion were returning to Ukraine after being in Turkey.
