We have made desperate efforts to keep Artsakh. This was stated today, July 7, in a conversation with reporters at the National Assembly by Gevorg Papoyan, a member of the CP faction, responding to the question of why Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan declared that Artsakh is part of Armenia if Armenia's positions in negotiations and military relations were not strong.

“We have made desperate efforts to keep Artsakh, we have significantly increased the military budget, and we have tried to make a breakthrough in diplomacy because we realized that the army is not ready for war, diplomacy is in a disgraceful state, we have made desperate efforts and have failed. We have not managed to do in two years what should have been done in 20 years,” he said.
