France Supports Armenia's Sincere Efforts Towards Achieving Peace, Says Colonna
France supports Armenia's sincere efforts towards achieving peace through negotiations with Azerbaijan, while preserving the rights of Armenians living in Nagorno-Karabakh. This statement was made by French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna on her Twitter account.
She noted that she expressed this during a phone conversation with her Armenian counterpart, Ararat Mirzoyan.
"France is mobilizing its forces in the name of justice and respect for international law," added the French diplomat.
It should be reminded that on July 6, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna had a phone conversation. They discussed the humanitarian crisis created due to the illegal blockade of the Lachin corridor, as well as the latest developments in the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
