Erdogan to Begin 'Thank You Visits' in Turkish Provinces
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will start a tour of the country's provinces on Saturday, with the first stops being in the northeastern regions. This information has been reported by Turkish media.
"President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is beginning his 'thank you visits' to the country's provinces after the elections. On Saturday, Erdogan will visit Bayburt and Gumushane for the first time, where he received a record number of votes in the elections held on May 14 and 28," the publication stated.
Erdogan is expected to inaugurate several public buildings in Bayburt.
It should be noted that the first round of presidential elections in Turkey took place on May 14, where none of the candidates were able to gather the required number of votes for victory. The second round of elections was held on May 28, in which the incumbent President Recep Tayyip Erdogan won with 52.18% of the votes.
