Weightlifter Seryozha Barseghyan Wins Gold at the European Championship for Under-17s

Seryozha Barseghyan, representing Armenia, won the gold medal in the snatch and clean and jerk competitions at the European Under-17 Weightlifting Championship held in Chisinau, Moldova. He achieved a total lift of 278 kg (131+147) in the 67 kg weight category.

Barseghyan was also the top performer in both the snatch and clean and jerk exercises. With this achievement, Armenia secured its third medal in the total lift category at the U-17 European Championships. Earlier, Zhora Grigoryan (61 kg) earned a gold medal, while Karlen Davtyan (49 kg) brought home a bronze medal.
