Weightlifter Zhora Grigoryan Becomes Champion of the European Youth Championships

Weightlifter Zhora Grigoryan secured the first gold medal for the Armenian team at the European Youth Championships taking place in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova. The 61 kg athlete demonstrated a total lift of 244 kg in the clean and jerk, clinching first place.

It is worth noting that weightlifter Karlen Davtyan, competing in the 49 kg category, finished in third place.

On July 5, weightlifters Seryozha Barseghyan (67 kg) and Yughaber Amroyan (40 kg) will enter the competition arena.
