Commander of 'Akhmat' Special Forces Unit Killed in Ukraine

The commander of the 'Akhmat' special forces unit, Yevgeny Pisarenko, has been killed in combat in Donbas.

“Thank you to the parents who raised such a hero (Yevgeny Valeryevich Pisarenko – may God bless you and rest in peace),” wrote unit commander Apta Alaudinov on his Telegram channel.

Military correspondent Dmitry Kulko also reported on Pisarenko’s death in his Telegram channel. “He was a great compatriot, served for many years in the Stavropol OMON, achieving the rank of colonel. When the special operation began, he voluntarily went to the front to protect the residents of Donbas,” he stated.
