Yerevan-Sevan-Shorja-Yerevan Electric Train to Depart from Sasuntsi Davit Station
The Yerevan-Sevan-Shorja-Yerevan commuter electric train will now depart not from the "Almast" stop (Kanaker-Zeytun community) but from the "Yerevan" station, located adjacent to the Sasuntsi Davit Square. According to Armenpress, this was announced by Alexey Melnikov, the General Director of South Caucasus Railways, during a press conference.
"This year we have a new route; the electric train will be leaving the 'Yerevan' station for the 'Shorja' station. In previous years, the route started from the 'Almast' station, but due to numerous inquiries from our passengers, we decided to start the route closer to the center of Yerevan," said Melnikov.
It is noted that the route began operation on June 16.
