Peace Talks on Ukraine Could Take Place as Early as July, German Media Reports

International negotiations on Ukraine, based on President Volodymyr Zelensky's "peace formula," may occur as early as July. This was reported by the ARD broadcaster's Brussels studio on June 25, following consultations in Copenhagen among representatives from Kyiv, the West, and countries from the Global South.

The meeting in the Danish capital aimed to ensure that nations with neutral or cautious stances toward the situation in Ukraine, such as Brazil, India, South Africa, and China, uphold the principles of a peaceful resolution. ARD reports that Kyiv's representatives explained the details of the "peace formula" to their partners.

Andrey Yermak, head of the Ukrainian president's office and a member of the delegation, stated on his Telegram channel, "I am convinced that this 'peace formula' should serve as the foundation for achieving stable and just peace for Ukraine."

The forum in Copenhagen was held at the level of national security advisors and political advisors. In addition to Ukraine, participants included the USA, the UK, the EU, Brazil, India, Canada, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Japan.

Yermak did not mention China among the participants. However, German media included China among the delegations from the Global South.
