What Was Artsakh Disturbing You With? Are You Good Now? Says Artsakh MP
What was Artsakh disturbing you with... are you good now, you "proud ones" who have "eliminated the corruption and plunder of Artsakh and Armenia"? Or are you suffocating in corruption, plunder, poverty, and statelessness?
This was written on her Facebook page by Artsakh National Assembly MP Metakse Hakobyan.
“Just a few years ago... our smiles were real, our laughter was loud, and the sparkle of happiness was in our eyes... thousands of young people were learning well or poorly at school, doing crazy things, falling in love, closing their eyes and dreaming... dreaming of a future where they were and certainly happy... The ‘future’ came, transformed into a seven-headed dragon, with a terrifying maw, spreading death everywhere, destruction, and not satiated... the dragon’s food is the blood of the youth...
Dear people, Armenians, were you fighting against ‘corruption’ and ‘plunder’? And what were the young people, whose gravestone picture became their photo from the Last Bell at school, disturbing you with? What was Artsakh disturbing you with... are you good now, you ‘proud ones’ who have ‘eliminated the corruption and plunder of Artsakh and Armenia’? Or are you suffocating in corruption, plunder, poverty, and statelessness... One day... you will certainly not be there, but ARTSAKH and ARMENIA will remain... but as long as you are here, remember that thousands of young people just wanted to live...”
