Training Gatherings to Be Held from August 1 to October 13
The government decided during its meeting on June 22 that training gatherings will be announced in Armenia from August 1 to October 13, 2023, involving reservists registered in the first and second categories of the first group, including regular, junior officer, and senior officer ranks.
Up to 2,352 citizens will be involved in the training gatherings, of which 2,115 are from the regular and junior officer ranks, 110 from the senior officer rank, and 127 from the officer rank in various specialized fields such as motorized infantry, communication, intelligence, engineering, and missile-artillery.
During the announced training gatherings, each citizen will participate for no more than 25 calendar days. The gatherings will take place in the following phases:
- From August 1-25, involving up to 788 citizens, including 708 from the regular and junior officer ranks, 25 from the senior officer rank, and 55 from the officer rank.
- From August 3-27, involving up to 56 reservists from the regular and junior officer ranks.
- From August 15 to September 8, involving up to 388 citizens, including 349 from the regular and junior officer ranks, 17 from the senior officer rank, and 22 from the officer rank.
- From August 29 to September 22, involving up to 420 citizens, including 376 from the regular and junior officer ranks, 18 from the senior officer rank, and 26 from the officer rank.
- From September 4-28, involving up to 350 citizens, including 313 from the regular and junior officer ranks, 25 from the senior officer rank, and 12 from the officer rank.
- From September 19 to October 13, involving up to 350 citizens, including 313 from the regular and junior officer ranks, 25 from the senior officer rank, and 12 from the officer rank.
To ensure the training gatherings from August 1 to October 13, 2023, up to 205 transport vehicles will be involved from organizations with military transport obligations, with each vehicle being engaged for no more than 7 calendar days, except for road construction vehicles, which will be engaged for no more than 25 calendar days.
