Azerbaijan Opens Fire Towards Martakert Region; Casualty Reported: Artsakh Defense Army

The press service of the Artsakh Ministry of Defense has released a statement indicating that on June 22, around 13:00, the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire by firing small arms in the direction of the Martakert region, resulting in the injury of contract soldier Mher Kamo Hakobyan.

The violation of the ceasefire by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces and the injury of the soldier have been reported to the command of the Russian peacekeeping forces.

It is noteworthy that earlier reports indicated that the Azerbaijani military also opened fire towards the Armenian positions at Verin Shorzha and Sotk.
