Signs of Cyclic Fatigue Found in the Lost Titan Submersible
The lost "Titan" submersible, which was exploring the Titanic wreck, has shown signs of cyclic fatigue. As a result, the maximum diving depth of the apparatus has been reduced to 3,000 meters, while the Titanic wreck is located at a depth of 3,800 meters.
This information was reported by Российская Газета. The submersible lost contact on June 18, one hour and 45 minutes after submerging. There are five people on board the submersible.
According to calculations, the submersible is expected to run out of oxygen on Thursday morning. The chances of rescuing the individuals on board are gradually decreasing.
