A 61-Year-Old Man in Masis Attempted to Suffocate His 89-Year-Old Father While Intoxicated

On June 15, at 12:00 PM, a citizen called the operational management center of the RA Police, reporting that an assault had taken place in one of the houses on 6th street in Masis, and the assailant was intoxicated.

An operational group from the Masis police department arrived at the specified address. A 37-year-old man reported to the police that upon entering the house, he saw his 61-year-old uncle, under the influence of alcohol, trying to suffocate his bedridden 89-year-old father with a pillow, an act that he managed to prevent.

Subsequently, the 61-year-old man attacked his 37-year-old cousin with a knife in the garage, inflicting injuries on his chest. The 61-year-old man was arrested and taken to the Masis police department. The documents prepared were sent to the prosecutorial body, and a criminal case has been initiated.
