Investigators Confirm Incident Involving Defense Ministry Officer Assaulting Patrols in Tavush
The Investigative Committee of Armenia has confirmed reports circulating in the media regarding an incident involving the Head of the Defense Ministry’s N military unit and his associates, who allegedly assaulted and verbally abused patrol officers in Tavush.
The Investigative Committee has announced that a criminal case has been initiated based on the features of Article 452, Part 3, and Article 297, Part 1 of the Criminal Code, concerning obstruction of the official duties of a public servant and hooliganism.
Currently, three individuals have been arrested in connection with the case. It is worth recalling that earlier reports indicated the same incident involving the Defense Ministry officer and his associates.
