«I regularly undergo medical examinations» – Putin

During a traditional informal gathering around a glass of champagne following the state awards ceremony, Russian President Vladimir Putin mentioned that he pays attention to his health and regularly undergoes medical examinations.

“To avoid not undergoing treatment, one must constantly stay in touch with doctors,” Putin joked, adding, “I regularly undergo medical examinations; probably everyone should do it.”

During the informal interaction, participants wished Putin health and strength “to avoid going to the doctors.”
